Officially opened on 14 June 2013, it crosses the Danube between Vidin, Bulgaria and Calafat, Romania, the second road bridge on a fairly long section of the Danube between the two countries.

The new bridge costs 6 Euro per car, free for motor bikes and bicycles, long delays for lorry drivers as there are a lot of checks
