I am a volunteer of this museum. This is the Aeropark at East Midlands Airport. This picture is a little out of date now as the museum has had a move round at the back. Recently moved to a new site near Castle Donington race tracks due to Airport Expansions where the Aeropark used to be. A collection of Post WW2 British aircraft is what you see here including a Vulcan, Argosy, Varsity, Buccaneer, Hunter, Lightning, Canberra, 3 Wessex, Meteor, 2 Vampire's, Whirlwind, Vanguard nose, Viscount nose, and a Spitfire FSM. Only £1 per adult and well worth a visit and good views of the Airport movements. |
