Tyco in your description you say "This bridge is on an abandoned track that used to serve a port that has been filled in with silt." But it looks like an active line to me. Can you back up your claim that this line is abandoned? |

The Master Plan for the area of Westport calls for it to be turned into a pier (page 47). in discussions with the developer (Patrick Turner) of the waterfront properties it will be turned into a walking bridge to complete a 5 mile loop around the Middle Branch. Follow the tracks to the left and you will see they end in a paking lot. |
