Burgruine Dürnstein

Burgruine Dürnstein is best known as the castle that held Richard I of England after he captured near Vienna in 1192. The castle was built around 1150 and demolished in 1645 during the Thirty Years War by Swedish troops led by Lennart Torstensson.
