Charlie Austin at Swindon Town

Charlie Austin is an English football player who currently plays for Queens Park Rangers.

From 2009 to 2011 Austin played for the Robins, scoring 31 goals in 54 League One matches. Swindon Town discovered Austin dominating for Poole Town, a tier five team in the Wessex Football League. Austin continued to score at a prolific rate in the Championship League after transferring to Burnley for three years and QPR for one. Upon promotion to the Premier League with QPR, Austin continued to score, surprising pundits with his 18 goals in one of the toughest leagues in the world. After impressing, Austin received a call up to the England national team on May 21, 2015. Austin did not receive a cap though.

After the 2014-15 season, QPR was relegated leaving Austin's future with the Rangers uncertain. Many teams are vying to sign Austin and its only a matter of time before Austin is scoring again... be it for the Rangers or somebody else.
