My family history research shows that our Adamson family had a number of additions whilst living at the Avenuehead, Comlongon in late 1700s to early 1800s. Unable to find any clarification for this location. Any chance of a tip? I am in Australia, so a bit difficult to search first hand.

Just contact the Town Hall of Dumfries, they maybe have some history documents in their archives.
