Fingal's Cave is a sea cave on the uninhabited island of Staffa off of Scotland. The cave is known for its hexagonal basalt columns, much similar to the Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland. The cave is named after the character "Fingal" from Scottish poet and historian, James Macpherson's poem. It was named so after Sir Joseph Banks, an English naturalist and botanist.
