Hoosac Tunnel, Central Shaft Ventilator

This ventilator building sits about 1000 feet above the middle of the Hoosac Tunnel in Florida, Massachusetts. The shaft was bored during tunnel construction to lower workers and equipment into the tunnel. It now serves to remove fumes.
