Description:Lock buildt in 1914 to protect the city of of Ribe and surrounded area from flooding after the dike was buildt in 1912. Throughout History the area has been several times. One of the worst was October 11. 1632, only the Januare 1362 flooding was worst when cities and coastlines were swept away.
