Martin Škrtel

Martin Škrtel (December 15,1984) is a Slovakian footballer who plays centre back for Liverpool FC. Skrtel came to Liverpool FC in 2008 by way of Zenit Saint Petersburg for £6.5 million. Martin is known for his quickness, aggression and ariel skills on the ball. He has scored 17 goals in all competitions in his eight seasons with Liverpool. Skrtel is also a fixture for his country. He captains the Slovakian National team and has scored five goals in his 70+ caps.
