Elk is moose in Norwegian. In Denmark it's Elg, in Sweden it's Älg.
you should try to google it before writing. :-D

By the way, if you say moose, we scandinavians hear another animal. A mouse (Mus)

I forgot to write old norwegian it's Elk but not used anymore, today it's Elg. :-)
