Description:Zachary Taylor, the 12th President of the United States of America, rests in this mausoleum along with his wife Margaret. He died on July 9, 1850.

Their remains were moved from their original tomb to this limestone and marble structure, which was built in 1926. In 1991, the President's remains were exhumed to determine if he died from arsenic poisoning.
