The sculpture is about 50 feet south of that point. What is shown is a simple water fountain in front of the Gates Building which is often not turned on.

The sculpture is a gentle fountain and clock mechanism but it has always had mechanical problems. It is currently de-installed as engineers try to determine if the electric clock motor and mechanism can ever be made rugged enough to keep operate properly long-term.
