Art Tuesday - Go Elephants!

During the summer 2008 in Norwich more than fifty beautiful Go Elephants! were decorated by artists and community groups showcasing the region’s rich artistic talent.

Norwich’s intimate network of streets has proved the perfect urban savannah for these painted pachyderms. The city and the art was enjoyed by people, particularly families, in their thousands – joining the safari with cameras and trail maps in hand.The sold out charity auction provided an exciting finale to Go Elephants!, raising thousands for two worthy charities, CLIC Sargent and the Born Free Foundation.
