Google Adds Historical Imagery to Google Earth

They’ve included some fascinating old imagery, such as San Francisco in the 1940’s or Las Vegas in the 1950’s. They have also included a spectacular country-wide dataset covering the United States in the late 1980’s and 1990’s.

The feature also lets you easily tell exactly what date the imagery was taken. This should help us resurrect some of the older “No Longer There” submissions.
