On Wednesday 10th August 2022, Eric AD6VT a radio amateur from Bishop, CA reached the summit of this peak and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 12 contacts in total working on the 40, 20 and 15 metre HF amateur radio bands.
