On Sunday 13th August 2023, Chris PY4/PY2GUT, a radio amateur from São Paulo Brazil, reached the summit of this peak and became the first to activate it on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 10 contacts in total working on the 40m, 15m and 10m amateur radio bands.

The summit of this peak is 1600 metres (5249 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
