1963 Ford Falcon

1963 Ford Falcon (StreetView)
1963 marked the addition of various trim levels of the 1st-generation Ford Falcon that was produced since 1959 for the 1960 model year, such as a 4-door verson of the upscale Futura and the new Sprint model. It was part of a then-emerging segment of compact cars in the U.S. and involved the competition between other manufacturers such as against Chevrolet and its Corvair, Plymouth and its valiant, and Studebaker and its Lark. Even though it was pulled from the American lineup in 1970, it continued to enjoy success in Australia as a full-size car.
