1971 Ford Torino 500 Hardtop

1971 was the year in which the base mid-size model was simply known as the "Torino" for the short-lived 2nd generation that only lasted for the previous and this model year. The 500 didn't signify the engine displacement, but was the mid-range model of the lineup, with most being equipped with the standard 250 cubic-inch (4.1-liter) I6. 326,463 were built for this model year.
