2002 Kia Rio Cinco and Fake Statue of Liberty

The Kia Rio Cinco, Spanish for "River Five", referring to its 5-door configuration, was the name of the station wagon body style of the DC Kia Rio subcompact that was made starting in 2000 for the 2001 model year. Also known as the Rio RX-V in Canada and the Rio Look in Chile, this first incarnation of it only had a 96 hp 1.5 liter DOHC I4, and the facelift from 2003 was equipped with a 104 hp 1.6 liter I4. For this generation, the Rio sedan was absent from the U.K. market and was simply marketed as "Rio." It had received acclaim for its styling and affordability, but was criticized for its poor quality and driving experience. U.S.-bound wagons of this styling were single-model year only cars, built for the 2002 model year; all wagons built for 2003 to 2005 had the facelift, and was subsequently replaced with a hatchback version for 2006.

This Rio Cinco had also been parked in front of a building with a small replica of the Statue of Liberty. It is no longer there circa 2013-2014.
