2382m Peak - Sierras Grandes (LUH/SG-003)

On Saturday 17th September 2022, LU1HEC/H, a radio amateur from Argentina reached the summit of this peak and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 26 contacts in total working on the 70 cm UHF and the 40 metre HF amateur radio bands.

The summit of this peak Is 2382 metres (7815 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
