2415m Summit - Sierras Grandes, Cordoba (LUH/SG-002))

On Friday 11th August 2023, Diego LU2HDM/H & Mati LW8HBE/H, two radio amateurs from Argentina, reached the summit of this peak and became the first to activate it on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 31 contacts in total working on the 2m, 40m and 10m amateur radio bands.

The summit of this peak is 2425 metres (7923 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
