On Friday 5th April 2024 at 12:44 UTC, Zdenko 9A4FM. a radio amateur from Croatia made contact with Jean Marie F5NLX/P, a radio amateur from France who was operating from Adrets de la Côte d'Aime, Valezan, Bellentre, Les Chapelles (FFF-3533), on the 20m amateur radio band. Jean Marie made a total of 537 contacts while at the reserve.
Adrets de la Côte d'Aime, Valezan, Bellentre, Les Chapelles (FFF-3533), is a Type 1 ZNIEFF Area which covers 1,684 hectares in the Rhône-Alpes Region of France. It lies to the east of the city of Lyon, not far from the border with Italy.
ZNIEFF is a scientific list of natural areas which are of interest ecologically for both fauna and flora. A Type 1 area is a homogeneous landscape which is defined by its rare species or habitat types and is an important natural area.
