On Monday 9th October 2023, Carine F/HB9FZC/P & Rene F/HB9BNG/P, a couple of radio amateurs from Switzerland, reached the summit of Aiguille de Loriaz and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 36 contacts in total working on the 40m amateur radio band.

The summit of Aiguille de Loriaz is 2752 metres (9028 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
