On Wednesday 3rd August 2022 Carine HB9FZC and Rene HB9NBG two radio amateurs from Switzerland reached the summit of Pointe d' Orny and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 28 contacts in total working on the 40 and 20 HF amateur radio bands.
