On Saturday 10th June 2023, Chris PY2GUT, a radio amateur from Sao Paulo, Brazil reached the summit of Alto da Lavrinha / Pico do Ataque and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
