On Monday 21st August 2023, Frank F4JYM/P, a radio amateur from France, reached the summit of Bec du Lièvre and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 13 contacts in total working on the 40m and 20m amateur radio bands.
