On Thursday 12th January 2023, Elena EA4DOS/P and Alejandro EA4DON/P, a couple of radio amateurs from Spain reached the summit of Campiña and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 45 contacts in total working on the 40, 30, 20, 17 and 15 metre HF amateur radio bands.

The summit of Campiña is 2049 metres (6722 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
