Carisbrooke Castle: Pics and Stories

The convent I went to was situated just below the castle, used to take our lynches up there and in the summer go up after school, watch the donkey drawing up the water by trotting around a wheel and sit on the window seat where the daughter of Charles the first, Elizabeth died at the age of sixteen, her tomb is in a church in Newport.
