Chûn Quoit is a portal dolmen is located on Chûn Downs close to the site of Chûn Castle Iron Age Fort.
This dolmen was erected in the Neolithic period (3500-2500BC) and it is thought that it was used for religious/tribal ceremonies rather having a funereal purpose.
Chûn Quoit has a mushroom-like appearance resulting from the domed capstone which is supported by four upright stones. There is cup mark on top of the capstone.
