On Sunday 18th June 2023, Manuel HB9DQM/P, a radio amateur from Switzerland reached the summit of Cima di Bri and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 94 contacts in total working on the 2m, 40m, 30m, 20m and 17m amateur radio bands.

The summit of Cima di Bri is 2521 metres (8271 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
