On Monday 29th August 2022, Claudio IX1IHR/P, a radio amateur from Italy reached the summit of Cima Pima and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 43 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 40, 30 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Cima Pima is 2512 metres (8241 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
