This is a Civil War Memorial located in Tibbits Park in White Plains, NY. This memorial was placed in 1872, and has weathered fairly well. A large tree has grown directly in front of the memorial, but the memorial itself is still easily found.
The front of the memorial reads:
To the Soldiers of White Plains who died in the Service of their Country in the Civil War 1861-65
Each side of the memorial lists names of the soldiers.
The rear of the memorial reads:
Erected by their Late Comrades and the Town of White Plains July 4, 1872
