Diamond No. 40765 – MX20 KYY is a Wright StreetDeck double-decker integral built by Wrightbus of Northern Ireland with a StreetDeck SC5DDRDXU2 chassis fitted with StreetDeck H45/29F bodywork which was delivered new in 2020 to Diamond.
Diamond part of Rotala Group plc acquired First Greater Manchester’s Bolton Depot with effect from Sunday 11 August 2019 and No. 40765 was part of a large order placed with Wrightbus to replace the buses loaned from First when operations began in August 2019.
Here on Street View No. 40765 is seen on Lea Gate. It is wearing Diamond’s blue livery operating on Route 507. Route 507 was formerly Bolton Corporation Transport’s Route 7 a circular service to Harwood Nab Gate via Tonge Moor Road. The complimentary anti-clockwise service was Route 6 via Thicketford Road.
