Eddie Murphy, Academy Award winning actor, has owned this Beverly Hills mansion since 2001. The actor purchased the 3.7 acre lot for $10 million and constructed a custom 40,000 square foot mansion in the 19th century Classical Italianate style. Murphy’s neighbors include Denzel Washington, Rod Stewart and other celebrities.

The Beverly Hills neighborhood area estate cost $20 million to construct, and includes a large outdoor pool, tennis court, a detached 5,200 square foot guest house that includes two additional suites. The 32 room mansion includes nine bedrooms, nine bathrooms, special play area for his children, a two-story library and a bowling alley.

In 1993, Murphy married his longtime girlfriend Nicole Mitchell, and the two divorced in 2006. He has three children with her, and three children from other relationships.
