On Friday 29th March 2024 at 08:41 UTC, Hans DM3SWD, a radio amateur from Germany, made contact with Pasi OH1MM/P, a radio amateur from Finland, who was operating from Enäjärvi, Metsäranta I (OHFF-1653), on the 40m amateur radio band. Pasi made a total of 285 contacts while at the reserve.
Enäjärvi, Metsäranta I (OHFF-1653) is a small protected area located north-west of Pori in the south of Finland. It was designated in 2009 as a Private Nature Reserve and is an IUCN Management Category IV area.
An IUCN Management Category IV area Is an area to protect particular species or habitats and are managed to prioritise this objective.
