On Saturday 16th July 2022 Alex DL/OE5LXR/P a radio amateur from Austria reached the summit of Fürberg and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 19 contacts in total working on the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
