On Sunday 9th October 2022, Klaus DL2KL/P, a radio amateur from Germany reached the summit of Eschenberg and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 29 contacts in total working on the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
