On Friday 11th August 2023, Ioanna SV4SWQ/P & Stavros SV2RUJ/P, two radio amateurs from Greece, reached the summit of Flegga and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 37 contacts in total working on the 20m amateur radio band.

The summit of Flegga is 2157 metres (7077 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
