Ford Explorer Limited (1st Generation)

Because Ford needed a competitor to General Motors's luxury Oldsmobile Bravada, a Limited trim for the Explorer was released for the 1993 model year, exclusively offered with a 5-door, 4-speed automatic configuration recognizable by a color-matching grille. It slotted above the Eddie Bauer Edition and came with more features such as foglamps, a center roof console, and an auto-dimming rear view mirror.
