Ford SVT Raptor SuperCrew 6.2L

Ford SVT Raptor SuperCrew 6.2L (StreetView)
The SVT Raptor was the second high-performance truck introduced by Ford, replacing the "muscle truck" performance of the SVT Lightning that was dropped after 2004 in favor of off-road performance in line with the Baja 1000 racing trucks, making it essentially a street-legal version of such. The cab styles were made available in waves, starting with the SuperCab available with either a 310 hp 5.4 liter V8 or the more powerful Platinum/Super Duty-sourced 6.2 liter V8 that produces 411 horsepower on tap. The longer SuperCrews arrived late in the 2010 model year, and for 2011 the 6.2 V8 became the sole engine choice for the Raptors, like this one. Either way, they were always available with 6-speed automatic transmissions. These were also the first Fords since 1983 to have the company name spelled across the grille rather than using the iconic "Blue Oval".
