Former First Cymru No.42683 – CU53 APY

Carmarthen, United Kingdom (GB)
Former First Cymru No.42683 – CU53 APY was a Dennis Dart with Plaxton Pointer bodywork.

No 42683 was new in 2006 and has apparently been withdrawn from service as it does not appear in the latest fleetlist (May 2023).

The Dennis Dart was a rear-engine single-decker midibus chassis that was first produced in 1989, to replace the Dennis Domino. The Dart was hugely successful with over 11,000 over its 19 years of production.

The Plaxton Pointer was a single-decker bus body that was originally manufactured by Reeve Burgess, Plaxton and then later by Alexander Dennis.

Here on Street View No.42683 is seen carrying ‘Parcio a Theitho’ route branding at the recently axed Carmarthen Park & Ride facility at Nant-y-ci.
