Mr. Vento served as the Chief Executive Officer of Westec Interactive from 2004 to 2009. He founded Westec Acquisition Corp., which was acquired by Westec InterActive Security, Inc., in October 2004, which includes the merged operations of Level 5 Security, a company he founded in 2003. He served as an Operating Partner at Comvest Partners.

In 1996, he founded TeleCorp PCS, Inc. and served as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, developed the strategy for bidding on undervalued FCC wireless licenses. He serves as the Chairman of Westec Interactive.

He was the Founder and Managing General Partner for several communications companies, which he developed from inception, including wireless and cable television properties throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. In the 1970s, he served in government at the state and federal levels: in two state regulatory posts and at the White House, completing presidential assignments in Egypt, West Germany, France, Brazil, Italy and Africa. He was the Executive Chairman of Velocity Express LLC.

From April 1995 to March 1998, he served as the Chairman of Entel Technologies, Inc. He has extensive experience garnered during his 20-year tenure in cable, telephony and wireless businesses. He has 30 years experience identifying various classes of underperforming and/or undervalued assets and designing a plan to quickly develop them into investment grade ready-for-sales assets. During his career, He has managed the financing, franchising, construction and marketing processes necessary to transform communications companies into thriving enterprises.

He has also lived in Palm Beach and Washington DC as well as other places.
