Sitting among, modern buildings and roads lies a small family burial ground. This small plot of land belongs to the Thompson family.

T.Thompson was a Confederate soldier who died at the age of 27 during the Civil War on November 23rd, 1865. He was originally buried at the camp and his remains were collected and moved to his hometown by his family. He was re-buried in the 1880s in his family's plot. Over time, the Thompson family sold land around the cemetery and the land became more and more modernised.

Only two gravestones are standing on the empty grass patch with a large tree close to the graves. However, it is said there are about 70 members of the family buried here.
