On Tuesday 7th March 2023, Ingo DH5ST/P and Alex DH2ID/ VK2/N6JFD/P, two radio amateurs from Germany reached the summit of Großer Hundskopf and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 54 contacts in total working on the 30 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
