Very occasionally visitor may sea Lions on the beach, but they only visit the cove in frequently.

Gypsy Cove

Gypsy Cove on the Cape Pembroke peninsula some 4 miles (6.5km) northeast from Stanley, the Islands capital, is in a National Nature Reserve.

The cove has a beautiful beach of white sand and is sheltered from the prevailing winds. From the headland behind the cove there are spectacular views in all directions. At the right time of the year visitors to the cove will be able to spot Megallanic penguins (Spheniscus magellanicus) which breed here and nest in underground borrows.
