On Sunday 17th September 2023, Reinhard OE7RGF/P, a radio amateur from Austria, reached the summit of Hairlacher Seekopf and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 25 contacts in total working on the 40m, 20m and 15m amateur radio bands.
