On Wednesday 7th February 2024, Reinhard OE7RGF/P, a radio amateur from Austria, reached the summit of Hochsteinflache and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 30 contacts in total working on the 20m, 17m and 15m amateur radio bands.
