Imre Nagy (7. June 1896 – 16. June 1958) was Prime Minister of Hungary from July 4. 1953 to April 18. 1955 and from October 24. 1956 to November 4. 1956.

June 16. 1958 he was secretly tried and executed by the Soviets after the Hungarian uprising October 23. – November 10. 1956.

His grave is at the New Public Cemetery (Új köztemető), Budapest, plot 301 where victims of the uprising are buried.
