After two weeks of preparation, the signal will sound for ten days of transforming 3,000 tons of sand into aesthetic enjoyment in the form of numerous spectacular sculptures.

In addition, a 30 metre-long by seven metre-high sculpture wall will encircle the festival area, which will present eight individual sculptures in heights of up to four metres.
This is Denmark’s biggest sand sculpture festival, which had 75,000 visitors in summer 2009.
